Overcrowding at Tourist Spots in Japan
Tourist spots in Japan are often overcrowded. I’ve overheard tourists from abroad complaining that everywhere in Japan seems crowded, especially on the trains. Even as a local, I’m often surprised by how many people visit some of the popular spots. It’s unfortunate that overcrowding can leave a bad impression of Japan, but there are still many beautiful places to explore that aren’t packed with tourists.
日本の観光スポットは、どこも混雑していることが多いです。海外からの観光客の方々も、電車の中で「日本はどこへ行っても混雑している」とうんざり気味に話しているのをよく耳にします。確かに、オススメしたいスポットも観光客で溢れかえり、日本人である私でさえ驚くことがあります。そんな混雑が原因で、日本の印象が悪くなってしまうのはとても困ります。ですが、実は素敵な場所は他にもたくさんあるはずです。
Sharing Japan’s Hidden Gem
The reason I want to share Japan’s hidden gems with you is that there are many lesser-known and less crowded spots that are just as wonderful. However, to be honest, the information I currently have is limited. Moving forward, I will share my personal experiences, including the planning and preparation stages, and I hope to grow both my blog and my knowledge with all of you.
私が日本の素敵なスポットを皆さんに紹介したいと思った理由は、日本の素晴らしい場所や経験できることがたくさんあると思ったからです。しかし、正直なところ、今の私が持っている情報は限られています。これからの経験や、実際に訪れた場所を計画から準備まで含めて、みなさんとシェアしながら、私自身のブログも成長させていきたいと考えています。
Deciding After Seeing the Breathtaking Scenery of Kamikouchi（上高地）
One day, I came across a reel on Instagram showcasing the breathtaking scenery of Kamigatani. While I had heard of the place, I had never been there, and I hadn’t really considered it because outdoor activities weren’t really my thing. However, the video was so stunning, it felt almost like Switzerland. I immediately started researching and discovered that most hotels were fully booked. Eventually, I found one room available in July and immediately made the reservation.
ある日、インスタのリールで見かけた上高地の絶景に心を奪われました。上高地は名前は知っていましたが、実際に行ったことはなく、アウトドアというものにあまり興味がなかったので、正直言って他の場所に比べて意識していませんでした。しかし、その動画があまりにも素晴らしく、まるでスイスのような景色で、驚きました。その瞬間、すぐに調べ始め、ホテルがほとんど満室だということがわかりました。結局、7月に1室だけ空いている日があったので、予約を決めてしまいました。
My First Trekking Experience
I don’t know how to get to Kamigatani, and trekking is a completely new experience for me (it’s probably been since my elementary school field trips). At first, I wasn’t sure where to start, but I’m really excited about it!
